About New China Beach
Located at 6170 Ulmerton Rd #14, Clearwater, FL 33760, New China Beach operates as a chinese restaurant serving Clearwater in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 1 day a week. The most common schedule is 2β8:30 PM. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach New China Beach at (727) 530-7785; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Clearwater is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Clearwater is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have food delivered, but they are very nice people, sometimes a little hard to understand, but the food is great. I love the sesame chicken with pork fried rice. And they give you a very good helping of it. Marie Pascale

One of the better Chinese food spots around. Great chicken wings and hot n sour soup is heartier and thicker. Doesn't taste like it was frozen in a bag like most places

New China Beach. It's a new chinese food place I am trying out. And I swear that I won't try them out again. I love chinese food. But this place was flawed. I ordered chicken noodle soup. It was mostly noodles and broth. The chicken had a soft texture as if seeming lime the chicken wasn't thoroughly cooked. At least I hope that it was chicken. Don't get me wrong. The broth was flavorful. But you need more than just noodles and broth. I also ordered the house egg foo young. It looks delicious. It is alright. However the dipping gravy needs improvement. And when I say needs improvement I mean actually changing your gravy. The gravy has a weird type of sour taste to it. Like it is soured Worcester sauce. I then tried to eat the house egg foo young by itself. It was them I realized just how greasy the stuff is. What you see in the plate with the house egg foo young is the actual grease I immediately spit out. I strained it out of the food through my teeth. I don't like wasting my money. Times are too tough to be wasting money. Only reason I didn't order Dominoes today is because I had Papa Johns yesterday. I thought the gravy would do some justice to the white rice. Boy was I wrong! Stopped to get something to eat for lunch. I grabbed a chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice lunch special. This was during COVID 19. I had to order the food outside at the front door and wait for it to be brought back to me when it was done at the front door. Looking through the window the place didn't look extremely clean.it didn't take very long for me to receive my order. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The chicken and broccoli had thick clumps of brown sauce? I took the chicken out of the sauce so that I wouldn't have so much of it. Also ordered an order of chicken wings. The chicken wings were good not extra crispy or crunchy but good.
